Day Camps

We are excited to offer Day Camps for Summer 2020!

All the fun of SAMBICA, packed into the daylight! Day Camps are a great way to introduce your young camper to the SAMBICA experience, or give your more experienced camper a fun summer activity.

Three camps. Unlimited fun.

Offering younger campers all the fun of traditional summer camp without the pressure of overnight stays. This week-long camp provides full days of activities filled to the brim with fun games and friendships. A hot lunch is served each day.

For older campers who prefer to sleep at home, rather than staying overnight at camp. These campers participate in the same program as the Jr. High Overnight campers, except they go home at 5:00 PM each night. A hot lunch is served each day.

H2O Campers spend much of their week at the SAMBICA waterfront experiencing our extensive water activities including: swimming, boating, water sports, kayaks and canoes, water toys, and more. Campers still get to try out our classic camp activities such as challenge course elements, archery, inflatables, and more! A hot lunch is served each day.

Staff

Our team members are college-aged adults who are responsible, faithful leaders. We hold extensive application, interview, and background check processes on all employees. Our counselors are strong role models who love to be silly and have tons of fun!

Safety

Safety is our top priority. Rest assured that when you drop your camper off at SAMBICA, our staff will work around-the-clock to ensure safety in activities, at the waterfront, and with each other. All of our staff are First Aid/CPR Certified and go through extensive safety training and background checks. For more information on safety procedures for Summer 2020, click here.

Faith Focus

Childhood is a vital time to ask the Big Questions and explore faith. We give campers a space to do just that. Because SAMBICA's vision is to inspire youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ, daily Bible studies will be run by counselors, making space for campers to ask questions and share their thoughts.

Store and Extras

The camp store, SAM's Place, is a camper's dream come true: candy, snacks (healthy ones too!), clothes, stickers, and toys galore. Add funds to your camper's store account when you register or at daily drop-off. Consider adding an exclusive SAMBICA Care Package or Pin Trading Kit - a hit with all campers!
