In the unique setting of one of the wealthiest zip codes in the world, we have campers attend camp with all types of backgrounds. Whether they were raised in the church or heard the Gospel for the first time at SAMBICA, campers encounter Jesus here every week. There are seeds planted, lives given to the Lord, and baptisms all throughout summer!
In addition to serving campers, we deeply care about investing in staff throughout the summer! The Full Time Team organizes experiences for staff that help foster community and depth through both play and spiritual investment. There will be spaces for you to recharge when needed and to have fun and get out of your comfort zone!
There is so much power in engaging in play! Through spending time around kids, there are doors of freedom and joy that open by experiencing child-like joy. Stepping out of your comfort zone to put on a costume, sing a chant, or compete on the water obstacle course is a powerful way to let God remind your heart of the child-like joy available!
