SAMBICA is a non-denominational Christian camp and retreat location on the shores of Lake Sammamish that has been on mission since 1919. In the summers we offer 10 weeks of thrilling summer camps for youth of all ages, enjoying time on the lake and investment in meaningful relationships. 100+ years ago at SAMBICA’s founding, the camp was literally the only light on the lake as the rest of the area was underdeveloped. With our history in mind, SAMBICA aims to reflect the light of Jesus to others by treating everyone who walks on camp like He would. We exist to be the light of Christ in our unique setting and to reveal His love in all we do.
We share the Gospel while speaking a kid's language: play. It's as simple as that. Whether during a week of overnight camp or an afternoon of fishing camp, we express the Good News of Christ with every camper who steps foot on camp. Through inspirational leaders investing in kids lives, breaking down walls through joy and play, and the direct invitation to relationship with Jesus, we see campers make the choice to walk with Jesus every year.
