Ignite Discipleship Program

Equipping high schoolers to passionately pursue Jesus by igniting their faiths, awakening their identities, and illuminating their God-given purposes.

Ignite is designed for high schoolers with an on-fire faith for the Lord.
We desire for participants to have a passion for growing deeper with Jesus as they live our their faith in the context of high school.

From October through March, participants will attend evening sessions at SAMBICA led by Full-Time team members. They will dive deeper into relationship with the Lord and build community with one another through a variety of different activities and teachings. Throughout the program, students will be equipped for a the lifelong journey of following Jesus.

Everything in Ignite is designed around the following question...

"Who is Jesus, and what does it mean to have faith in Him?"

Throughout the program, students will tangibly learn the foundations of their faith, and how to live it out in their own contexts.

Each "IgNight" session will focus on a different topic relating to this theme. Students will experience vibrant and interactive teachings, along with community and small group times to deepen their learnings from head to heart!

Capstone!

• Mission Trip to Central America! All participants in Ignite are encouraged to join!

• Will likely be during Seattle area's "Mid-Winter" break in February

We are looking forward to traveling on an incredible mission trip with our Ignite participants again in 2027! We will most likely be traveling during the Seattle area's Mid-Winter break in February.

Currently, we are exploring trip options partnering with different established ministry connections across Central America. Potential locations include Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica.

As we finalize trip details, we encourage students to apply, even if they aren't sure if they'd be able to make it on the trip!

In spring of 2023, we had a dream to equip high schoolers who are passionately pursuing Jesus to be bold ambassadors in their spheres of influence. We wanted them to know God, stand firm in Him, and take action.

Our first group of IGNITE students started in the fall of 2023. 3 years later, in February 2026 we have now completed Ignite 3.0 with a third consecutive mission trip to Mazatlán, Mexico. It has been a joy to see these students grow in their personal relationship with Christ through participating in Ignite and going all in both at home and on mission!

For the upcoming Ignite 4.0 (2026-2027 school year), we are eager to continue expanding our offerings, to help our students experience deeper faith growth, more tangible community, and walk away more alive in Christ!
