Why SAMBICA?

Personal Growth - prayer
Personal Growth - because Jesus
Personal Growth - counselor
Personal Growth - laughter

Friends. Faith. Flexibility.

SAMBICA allows for opportunities to inspire youth in their walk with the Lord as well as chances for growth in your own personal faith journey.
As a member of the SAMBICA family, you will always have someone in your corner who is ready to share encouraging words or coffee.
There are things we do that can’t be valued by earthly measures. When a camper first accepts Christ, when you form a deep connection with a new friend on your team, or when you have an impactful Bible study that leads you closer to God. These moments allow Christ to show His light through our lives. At SAMBICA, these “Paycheck Moments” will be the core of your summer experience.
Because of SAMBICA’s unique camp setting, no two days will ever be the same. Being in the middle of the Seattle/Bellevue area, 75% of our campers come from unchurched backgrounds. There is always a new challenge to take on! Are you up for it?
Interested in joining our Summer Team but can’t commit to all 10 weeks? We are always willing to create a summer schedule that fits your individual needs.

More practical than a corporate internship.

SAMBICA is committed to the academic success of our Summer Team. Apply here for the Dennis A. Schober Staff Scholarship and you could receive up to $2,000.00 toward school. Talk with our Program Director or Manager about applying.
Whether it is during the summer or the school year, SAMBICA offers internship opportunities in various areas around camp. Internships can qualify for college credit.
Working at camp, you gain countless useful skills to use in future careers. SAMBICA has professional connections all across the Greater Seattle area and is happy to make introductions.
Live outside of the Pacific Northwest? SAMBICA offers a travel allowance up to $300.
Signing on for 10 weeks of summer makes you eligible for our full season bonus of $250.

The best place for a young adult to be, Seattle is full of life and brimming with many opportunities. During your summer, explore downtown (20 mins away), discover great hikes (30 mins away), and take trips to Canada (2 hrs away) or Portland (4 hrs away)!

SAMBICA is conveniently located in Bellevue, just a 10 minute drive from major grocery stores, shopping centers, and churches.

Staff Experiences

Once a week the whole team gets together for food, fun, and fellowship. Designed as a relaxing time away from campers, these events will be fun and spiritually focused to draw the team together. During the school year, our high school staff members enjoy monthly get togethers at SAMBICA!

Covenant Groups

Covenant Groups

A support system of deep relationships. Covenant Groups are small groups of staff from all across camp that meet together for fellowship on a weekly basis. Groups pray together, encourage each other, and share about their lives.

Bible Studies

Time is set aside for staff to meet together for Bible studies. Staff can choose which day of the week they will participate in a Bible study. Be challenged in your spiritual life and ask challenging questions about faith in a safe, group setting
