Through team devotionals, being stretched through serving alongside other believers, and living in community with people ahead of you in their faith, you will experience discipleship in unique ways. Spiritual growth happens not only in the quiet place with Jesus, but also in the life on life moments with the body of Christ!
In the unique setting of one of the wealthiest zip codes in the world, we have campers attend camp with all types of backgrounds. Whether they were raised in the church or heard the Gospel for the first time at SAMBICA, campers encounter Jesus here every week. There are seeds planted, lives given to the Lord, and baptisms all throughout summer!
In addition to serving campers, we deeply care about investing in staff throughout the summer! The Full Time Team organizes experiences for staff that help foster community and depth through both play and spiritual investment. There will be spaces for you to recharge when needed and to have fun and get out of your comfort zone!
Small Groups integrate staff from every team, as well as allow staff to be poured into by Leadership and Full Time Team members on a weekly basis in a small group setting. With separate men and women's small groups, these gatherings are designed as a time for prayer, encouragement, and community.
