H2O Extreme Day Camp Information

This camp is all about water, water and more water. Our hottest camp spends the day at the beach and in the sun. This day camp runs an hour longer each day than our Classic Day Camp which gives our campers more time in and behind our ski boats. While campers will still experience some of SAMBICA’s other activities most of the week is spend doing water activities including: swimming, boating (with the option to tube, wakeboard, water ski, or kneeboard), kayaking/canoeing, water toys, and more. Some non-water activities such as archery, the inflatables, and field games are also included.

 

During the week campers will generally have three to four times out on the boats as well as extended time on the water toys.  Campers will have free swim each day with time to shop in the camp store. Campers will also participate in daily Bible studies.

 

 


Sample Schedule

A typical day in H2O Extreme Day Camp will look like the following:

        2:10 - 3:20 PM    Activity 3

        3:35 - 4:45 PM    Activity 4

        4:55 - 5:15 PM    Camp Fire

        5:15 - 6:00 PM    Pick up

  

Possible Activities Include:

Please note: There is no Thursday overnight stay for H2O Extreme Day Camp.
 

What to Bring

All items should be clearly marked with the camper's name.

  • Backpack (to carry personal items)
  • Sunscreen
  • Play Shoes
  • Towel 
  • Swimsuit (one piece)
  • Bible (if available)
  • Water bottle
What Not to Bring:
  • No spaghetti strap tank tops allowed
  • No flip flops (All shoes must have a heel strap)
  • No cell phones or pagers allowed
  • No tape/cd/mp3 players, radios, televisions, computers, or electronic games are allowed

Parents' Program Friday in Jepson Forum 4:00 – 4:45 PM
 

Pick up after 6:00pm will incur a $1.00 a minute, per child fee which is due at the time of pick-up.


Sunday Check-In 
H20 Extreme Day Camp Check-In takes place in the Jepson Forum the Sunday before your child's week of camp from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  Check-In will end promptly at 5:00 PM. Parking is available across the street on the upper field. If you are not able to attend Sunday check-in, please allow for extra time at the Monday morning drop off.
 

At Check-In you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Meet your child’s counselor
  • Add money to your child’s store account
  • Shop with your child at the camp store
  • Purchase a camp picture or photo CD 
  • Finalize any missing paperwork
  • Make additions to your carpool list
  • Turn in any medications your child may need while at camp

Extended Care
Pre-paid AM extended care is available for a $25.00 per week fee. Extended care drop off is from 7:00 - 8:00 AM.  PM extended care is not available for H2O Extreme Day Camp.
 

 
Special Schedules
If your child needs to miss any portion of their camp session, please notify the main office of your schedule conflicts as soon as possible. All late arrivals and early departures will take place in the main office. Notifying your child’s counselor of early pick up times will not ensure your child will be ready when you arrive; please call the main office at (425) 746-9110. Campers that arrive late or depart early will miss a portion of the camp program and will not be able to make up missed activities. Campers who arrive late Monday morning will miss being in the camp picture. Should you schedule a pick up for your child in the middle of an activity, they may need to miss the entire activity. In fairness to other campers, boats will not be brought back before the scheduled end time of each activity block. Please check with our office manager concerning the best time to pick up your child if they must leave early.
 

 
Parents' Program
The H2O Extreme Day Camp Parents’ Program takes place on Friday from 4:00 – 4:45 PM in the Jepson Forum. Parking is available across the street on the upper field.  This is not only a time to pick up your child, but to hear a recap of the week at camp, see the camp DVD for that week and fellowship with your camper's counselor. There will be an opportunity to donate or refund your camper's remaining store money, pick up your own copy of the camp DVD, and pick up any remaining medications from the Camp Medic.  Campers will also receive a parent packet which includes their camp picture (if purchased) and other important camp information.  If you do not plan on attending Parents’ Program, you must arrange an early pick up with our office at (425) 746-9110.  No pick ups may be made after 4:00 PM until the end of Parents’ Program. All campers must be picked up by the end of the Parents' Program.

Early Bird Special: All campers that register and pay in full by June 1st receive $20.00 off the cost of registration for each camp they register for. Registration and final payment must be postmarked no later than June 1st to receive the discount. This special may be applied along with a discount. Discounts and Scholarships are available!
